BACKGROUND of Max McKegg

I graduated Master of Commerce (Honours) from Auckland University in the early 1980’s

and began my working career with Ernst and Young. I soon found that I was ill-suited to

the boredom of accountancy and was attracted to the field of trading, firstly Futures and

from 1985 – 1993 I headed Bank of New Zealand's Technical Analysis Unit in Wellington

where I was in charge of forecasting the global forex markets.

During this period, I produced a Daily US Dollar Forecast on Reuters which gained a very

large international following. I always intended to work for myself & inspired by this support

in 1993 I was accepted by Reuters as a specialist data service provider on their global

network, which I remain to this day. I set-out to establish a customer base amongst FX

Bank Dealers, Corporates & Hedge Fund Managers & have succeeded in this undertaking

to the extent that I managed to secure in excess of 100 institutional clients world-wide as

well as many hundreds of Individual traders in over 30 different countries.
